- Criminal drug conspiracy was reported at the Red Roof Inn, 212 W. Anthony Drive, Oct. 24.
According to a police report, a package was delivered to the motel addressed to a customer who had a reservation there. An employee opened the package and discovered it contained cannabis.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 32-year-old man, a 35-year-old man and a 26-year-old man were arrested on various charges at the 1100 block of Beardsley Avenue early Friday morning.
According to a police report, an officer made a stop because a wanted offender was thought to be in the vehicle. The 32-year-old offender was arrested for obstructing justice when he lied about his identity. He had also been driving on a suspended driver's license. The 35-year-old offender was arrested for obstructing justice. The 26-year-old offender was arrested for possession of cannabis, resisting an officer and having an active warrant for his arrest.
- An 18-year-old man was arrested on multiple charges at the 1300 block of Market Street, Oct. 18.
According to a police report, the offender was stopped for speeding and was issued a warning. The offender was found to be driving on a revoked driver's license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
- A 29-year-old woman reported theft at the 1200 block of Joanne Lane, Monday morning.
According to a police report, an unknown offender stole a washing machine and dryer off of her porch.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 36-year-old woman reported burglary from a motor vehicle at the 200 block of Bradley Avenue early Sunday morning.
According to a police report, the victim heard a loud noise outside. When she investigated, she saw two offenders running and carrying items. A stereo, television set, two sets of speakers and an amplifier were then found to be missing from her vehicle. The offenders also damaged a window.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 25-year-old woman reported criminal damage to property at the 1100 block of Holiday Drive, Tuesday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender threw a rock through the front-room window of the residence.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 23-year-old man reported burglary at the 00 block of Hedge Road, Tuesday night.
According to a police report, an unknown offender entered the victim's residence and took a computer, three watches, a gold ring, a projector and a stereo receiver. The offender also damaged the door frame.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
According to a police report, an unknown offender keyed the victim's passenger side door.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- An 18-year-old Woodridge man was arrested for obstructing justice at a parking lot, 603 E. John St., early Wednesday morning.
According to a police report, officers observed the offender striking signs and overturning barricades in the parking lot. The offender fled when police approached him but was apprehended nearby. The offender gave officers a fake driver's license when asked for an ID and began yelling at officers when they asked for another. Officers attempted to restrain the offender, and upon doing so he became combative and eventually escaped. The offender was apprehended after he fell while running through a nearby vacant lot. He was treated by medical personnel on the scene for minor injuries before being transported to jail. Two officers sustained minor injuries from the incident.
- Police confiscated two folding knives at Garner Hall, 201 E. Gregory Drive, Tuesday night.
According to a police report, University Housing staff members reported that witnesses had seen a man stab the door to another resident's room and post an obscene note there.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 68-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at the 1200 block of Eads Street early Tuesday morning.
According to a police report, the offender was seen seated in the driver's seat of his vehicle with his seat belt on. The vehicle was improperly parked and the offender admitted to driving to the location and drinking alcohol before driving. The offender showed indications of impairment during sobriety tests and officers smelled the odor of alcohol on his breath.
- An 18-year-old woman reported criminal damage to property at the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue, Tuesday morning.
