- A 35-year-old man reported burglary from his motor vehicle at the 1400 block of Westfield Drive, Thursday morning.
According to a police report, the victim reported that an unknown offender entered the unlocked vehicle and stole change from the center console.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 21-year-old man was arrested for residential trespassing at the 300 block of Daniel Street early Friday morning.
According to a police report, the offender kicked in a locked apartment door.
- A 21-year-old man reported attempted residential burglary at the 800 block of Locust Street, Friday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender attempted to enter his residence by breaking two exterior windows.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 20-year-old woman was arrested for burglary at Macy's, 2000 N. Neil St., Friday afternoon.
According to a police report, the offender entered the store and concealed three pairs of jeans in her purse. She then exited the store without paying for them and was apprehended.
- A 19-year-old woman was issued a notice to appear in court for possession of a controlled substance at the 1000 block of Second Street, Friday night.
According to a police report, an officer was called to the residence for a report of drug activity. The offender was issued the notice for possession of two grams of cannabis.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 28-year-old man and a 27-year-old man reported residential burglary at the 200 block of Washington Street, Friday evening.
According to a police report, the victims left their residence for a short time and when they returned home, two laptop computers had been taken.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 28-year-old man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at the 1400 block of Romine Street, Wednesday night.
According to a police report, the offender was stopped by officers investigating a possible domestic disturbance. The offender attempted to dispose of cannabis he possessed at the time and was seen by an officer. The offender made false statements claiming that he never possessed the drugs and then he was taken to jail.
- A 74-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at the 1000 block of Kerr Avenue, Wednesday night.
According to a police report, the offender was intoxicated and was found laying on the floor of his apartment lobby. The offender admitted to drinking at two different bars and then driving home.
- Wal-Mart, 100 S. High Cross Road, reported burglary Thursday morning.
According to a police report, three unknown offenders entered the business and took selected electronic items. The offenders left the business without paying for two 15-inch TVs, three 19-inch TVs, a cell phone, a portable DVD player and a seven-inch TV.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- Wal-Mart, 100 S. High Cross Road, reported forgery Friday morning.
According to a police report, a 44-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were found to be in possession of two stolen checks from a burglary that occurred in Peoria, Ill. The offenders cashed the checks at the business, taking $2778.92 from the victim's account.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 36-year-old Florida man was arrested for forgery at Walgreens, 302 E. University Ave., Friday evening.
According to a police report, the offender attempted to cash a forged check at a mobile grocery store. The offender was then apprehended by the Urbana Police Department and lied about his identity. The offender was taken to the Champaign County Sheriff's Office but his identity remains unknown.
- A 26-year-old woman reported criminal damage to property at the 1400 block of Michigan Avenue, Saturday morning.
According to a police report, an unknown offender damaged the victim's vehicle by pouring sugar in the gas tank. The offender also let air out of the victim's tires.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 37-year-old man was cited for criminal offenses at the 1800 block of Philo Road, Saturday evening.
According to a police report, the offender contacted a business at the location by phone and pretended to be a doctor. The offender ordered a faulty prescription for himself for a prescription drug. The pharmacist suspected illegal activity and phoned the police.
Further investigation is still pending.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
