- A 54-year-old woman reported theft from her motor vehicle at the 1700 block of Burnetta Street early Wednesday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender stole a cell phone from the woman's parked vehicle.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- Gallo Miller Paint and Collision Repair Incorporated, 501 W. Kenyon Road, reported theft over $300 sometime between Monday morning and Wednesday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender stole three commercial air conditioning units from the exterior of the building.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 57-year-old man was arrested on charges of his dog running at large at the intersection of Green Street and McKinley Avenue early Monday afternoon.
According to a police report, the man's dog was running at large with a rabies tag. The man was issued a city notice to appear in court.
- A 41-year-old man reported residential burglary at the zero block of Hanover Court sometime Wednesday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender forced entry into the man's home via a bedroom window and stole money and medicine. The offender also damaged a window screen.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- Tires Plus, 807 W. Marketview Dr., reported forgery early Tuesday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender presented a fraudulent check to the business on Dec. 31. One tire was reportedly stolen.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 43-year-old man reported criminal damage to property at the 700 block of West Springfield Avenue early Thursday morning.
According to a police report, an unknown offender cut the man's telephone sometime earlier that week.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 37-year-old man reported deceptive practices at the 100 block of North First Street early Wednesday afternoon.
According to a police report, the man received a check from a 58-year-old man for contract work on Dec. 20. The check was returned to the victim as payment stopped.

- A 31-year-old Rantoul, Ill., woman reported criminal damage to property at the zero block of Sherwood Court late Thursday night.
According to a police report, an unknown offender threw an object at the woman's vehicle, breaking the windshield. When the woman returned to retrieve the vehicle, she also discovered two tires were flat.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 76-year-old man reported theft over $300 at the 1200 block of East Fairlawn Drive early Thursday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender used the man's checking account information to purchase products or services without authorization.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 24-year-old woman was arrested for burglary at Wal-Mart, 100 S. High Cross Road, early Thursday afternoon.
According to a police report, the woman attempted to steal 10 video games, a television and a CD but was detained by loss prevention. The woman was also discovered to have a valid warrant for her arrest.
- Two 20-year-old men reported burglary at the 1900 block of North Lincoln Avenue late Thursday night.
According to a police report, an unknown offender entered the men's apartment and stole a laptop and a PlayStation with controllers.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- Police were called to the 800 block of South Wright Street late Wednesday night for a report of a man standing in the street and stopping cars.
According to a police report, a 47-year-old man, whom had previously had several contacts with police for panhandling and had been banned from campus, was asking for money. Police requested a letter banning the man from campus.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- Criminal damage to property was reported at Alice Campbell Alumni Center, 601 S. Lincoln Ave., some time between Tuesday and Thursday.
According to a police report, an unknown offender spray painted graffiti on a wall, causing an estimated $500 in damages.
