Kelly from "The Office" coming to campus
The Illini Union Board announced Thursday that Mindy Kaling who plays Kelly on NBC's "The Office" will headline the first of a monthly entertainment series called "Must See" events.
Kaling will perform a live comedy show at 8 p.m. Sept. 27 on the Quad. The Illini Union Board is also in final negotiations to get Judah Friedlander who plays Frank on NBC's 30 Rock, as a second performer for the show..
The show will be free to students.
The "Must See" performances are designed to give students a monthly opportunity to see established entertainers..
Other "Must See" performances are scheduled for Oct. 17 and Nov. 14.
