n Theft was reported at Hawthorne Suites, 101 Trade Centre Drive, Monday.
According to the police report, the unknown offender stole items from the victim's hotel room.
n A 20–year–old man was charged with the operation of a motor vehicle with suspended registration at the 1400 block of South Prospect Avenue, Sept. 25.
According to the police report, the man was also charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, having a suspended driver's license and child restraint violations.
n A 35–year–old woman reported burglary at the 300 block of Nelson Court, Sept. 28.
According to the police report, the unknown offender entered the victim's home by cutting the screen of a window and climbing through the opening. The offender stole one electronic gaming system, five electronic games, clothing, two pairs of shoes and cash while damaging one vehicle and one window screen.
n A 58–year–old woman reported criminal damage to property at the 200 block of Brookwood Drive, Friday.
According to the police report, the tire on her parked vehicle was slashed outside her home.
n A 26–year–old man reported theft at the 100 block of East Springfield Avenue, Thursday.
According to the police report, an unknown subject stole a pair of yellow headphones from the victim's UPS package. Urbana
n A 23–year–old man reported credit card fraud at the 900 block of West Springfield Avenue, Tuesday.
According to the police report, the unknown offender used the victim's debit card information to buy merchandise over a two–month period.
n Theft was reported at Kennedy's at Stone Creek, 2560 S. Stone Creek Blvd., Monday.
According to the police report, the offender stole a check from the restaurant, forged its signature and tried to cash the check at a local bank, but it was denied.
University
n Theft was reported at the Harding Band Building, 1103 S. Sixth St., Saturday.
According to the police report, $200 in cash and two music players were stolen while the band members were performing at the Illinois football game.
n A 19–year–old man was issued a Champaign City Notice to Appear for public urination near the corner of Sixth and Daniel streets, Saturday.
n Theft was reported at the iHotel, 1900 S. First St., between Sept. 3 and 29.
According to the police report, a video camera, battery pack and tripod were stolen.
