Meth abuse victims highlighted in University study
12:37 AM 2/11/2005 — A recent study conducted by University researchers has found that the worst people affected by the abuse of methamphetamine drugs are families and children. However, the study finds that there is a lack of information available for treatment. The study, led by social work professor Wendy Haight, cites circumstances where children are inhaling toxic gasses, risking being the victims of chemical explosions and living with traumatic experiences.

12:44 AM 2/11/2005 — CHAMPAIGN A 20-year-old man was arrested early Thursday morning for minor-in-possession and property damage at C.O. Daniels, 608 E. Daniel St. According to a police report, the man was asked by staff to leave and broke the doorframe as he exited. A 47-year-old man reported a burglary late Monday night at the 600 block of West Church Street.
