University sees decline in minorities
8:26 AM 3/28/2005 — The number of minority students applying to the University has declined significantly this year, causing a drop in the number of minority students to be enrolled for the 2005-06 school year. But no one knows why. "The total number of applications that the University received across the board was down 14 percent this year," said Associate Provost Keith Marshall.

Now University students can find these TV shows and many others on DVD at the Undergraduate Library. The Undergraduate Library began a pilot program in February to allow students to check out DVDs.
Urbana City Council to discuss passing a new development plan
4:17 PM 3/28/2005 — The Urbana City Council is scheduled to discuss the final approval of the city's Comprehensive Plan on Monday. The plan sets goals and strategies for development in and around Urbana and serves as a guideline for making decisions regarding new construction.
