Illini swimmers sink Illinois State
12:06 AM 11/15/2005 — The Illinois swimmers rebounded after a tough pair of meets last weekend as they topped undefeated Illinois State 172-128 in Normal on Friday. On their way to the victory, the Illini set a pair of pool records and grabbed a dozen first-place prizes. "I was very happy with how they competed," head coach Sue Novitsky said.

12:06 AM 11/15/2005 — Michael Calkins and Amer Delic have not played singles together since November of last year, but Monday night at the Atkins Tennis Center the two took the courts together again. Calkins and Delic were All-Americans at Illinois, but unfortunately for them, could not capitalize on that success during their first-round doubles match at the United States Tennis Association Challenger of Champaign-Urbana.
