Lab to get $7.6 million renovation
2:27 AM 11/28/2005 — Roger Adams Laboratory is getting a much needed face lift. The Board of Trustees approved a $7.6 million renovation of the current facility as part of a seven-phase, $35 million project at its Nov. 10 meeting. "The current lab is antiquated and in need of drastic improvements," said Nicholas Klitzing, student trustee and junior in LAS.
NCAA denies another appeal

Indiana University of Pennsylvania claimed that its "Indians" nickname is derived from the university's location in Indiana, Penn.
President of MSNBC visits University
2:16 AM 11/28/2005 — President of MSNBC Rick Kaplan is to visit the University to work with journalism students from Monday until Wednesday. He will specifically work with the Television Journalism II class with their newsbreak projects that will air on UI7. He also will speak at Dean of the College of Communications Ron Yates' Reporting I lecture, focusing on what's next for cable and network news and how MSNBC is covering news in Iraq.

2:26 AM 11/28/2005 — Champaign A 44-year-old man was arrested Friday evening for possession of cannabis and on an outstanding in-state warrant at the 00 block of Washington Street. A 27-year-old man was wanted on outstanding warrants and fled from police late Wednesday evening at the 200 block of Roper Street.
