Whether it is the frozen speed, the odd vantage point, the color or the instantaneous emotion, each of these photos has a quality to them that makes the image jump off the page. If you follow the photographers of The Daily Illini, then you should have already observed the great deal of stylistic diversity we have on staff. On this page you can see that some photographers express themselves in art, while others look for interaction. Some photographers visualize in moments of emotion, while others look for moments of activity. We are artists, engineers, pilots, grad students, but most importantly, we are journalists. I think you can see that in this set of the semester's best photos.
