Champaign residents question the arrest of 17 year-old

Dozens of local residents attended Tuesday night's Champaign City Council meeting and many confronted the board wanting answers about Friday night's arrest of a 17-year-old black male.

Is there any chance there are more details? What was the man arrested for? Why are citizens up in arms? Did any of you actually attend the meeting, or are you just reporting off the meeting minutes?

so he was walking through the park and a LEO wanted the boy to stop and he didn't so they maced and arrested him. i thought you walking through the park was legal. (Continued…)
