Volleyball registers home win
1:56 AM 11/5/2007 — An emotional weekend ended on a positive note for the Illinois volleyball team. Despite dropping a tough, five-game match against the Northwestern Wildcats on Friday, the Illini bounced back Saturday, coming out on top in four against Michigan State.

Women recover in second half, coast to easy exhibition victory
2:07 AM 11/5/2007 — After a sloppy first half, the Illinois women's basketball team scored 48 points in the second half to cruise to an 86-39 victory against DT3 in its only exhibition game of the season on Sunday.
DT3, a collection of former collegiate players from the Midwest, challenged the Illini in the first half, but new head coach Jolette Law made sure the second half was different.
