- A 20-year-old man was arrested for passing a school bus at the intersection of Market and Roper streets, Monday afternoon.
According to a police report, the offender was stopped for passing a school bus while it was stopped in the street. The offender had no valid driver's license at the time of the stop.
- A 50-year-old woman was issued a notice to appear in court at Illini Inn, 901 S. Fourth St., Oct. 21.
According to a police report, the notice was issued for overcrowding, violating the building and fire codes.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 20-year-old man reported theft at Beta Theta Pi Fraternity, 202 E. Daniel St., Tuesday afternoon.
According to a police report, the victim had his wallet, driver's license, Social Security card, one credit card and cash stolen from his bedroom in the house sometime over the weekend.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 70-year-old man reported theft at the 600 block of Teal Cove Court, Tuesday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender stole a yellow rotating light from the top of a vehicle that was parked on the street.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 45-year-old woman reported criminal damage to property at the 1200 block of Maple Park Road, Tuesday afternoon.
According to a police report, an unknown offender damaged the victim's front window.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- Nineteen notices to appear in court were issued at the intersection of Second and Chalmers streets, Oct. 19.
According to a police report, the notices were issued for minors in possession of liquor, open liquor and possession of liquor on public property.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 24-year-old man was arrested at Meijer, Inc., 2401 N. Prospect Ave., Tuesday evening.
According to a police report, the offender had stolen groceries and DVDs from the business. The offender was also found to be in possession of cannabis.
- Nine notices to appear in court were issued at Kam's, 618 E. Daniel St., Oct. 28.
According to a police report, a bar check was conducted at the bar. Seven of the notices were issued for minors in possession of alcohol, two for resisting or obstructing an officer.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- Eight notices to appear in court were issued at Station 211, 211 E. Green St., Oct. 27.
According to a police report, the notices were issued for minors in possession of alcohol during a routine bar check.

University
- A 22-year-old Sidney man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Neil Street and Devonshire Drive, Friday night.
According to a police report, an officer observed the offender speeding near the intersection at 62 miles per hour. The offender was also cited for having a breath alcohol content exceeding .08.
- A 20-year-old Springfield man and a 19-year-old Monticello man were issued notices to appear in court for possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Wright Street and Armory Avenue late Saturday night.
According to a police report, an officer conducted a traffic stop on the offenders' vehicle. The 20-year-old offender was found to be in possession of a bag containing suspected cannabis that was in the pocket of the passenger door. The 19-year-old offender was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia after two smoking pipes were found in a tray beneath the vehicle's dashboard. He was also cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and driving in the wrong direction on a one-way street.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
- A 26-year-old Rantoul man was arrested on a warrant at the 700 block of South Wright Street early Wednesday morning.
According to a police report, an officer stopped the offender for driving through the bus plaza on Wright Street. The offender was also cited for operating an uninsured vehicle without a license and gave false information when asked for his name and date of birth.
- Two residents at Trelease Hall, 901 College Court, reported burglary Tuesday morning.
According to a police report, an unknown offender entered the victims' room and took two wallets, various forms of ID, debit cards and an iPod. Four unauthorized changes of unknown value were made to one of the debit cards at gas stations in Champaign after the theft.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
