Champaign

  • A 22-year-old man was arrested for obstructing justice at the intersection of Bradley and McKinley avenues Wednesday evening.

    According to a police report, officers conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. The offender lied to the officers about his identity. The offender was also found to be driving on a revoked license.


  • A 31-year-old woman reported burglary at the 1400 block of Holly Hill Drive, Oct. 25.

    According to a police report, an unknown offender entered the victim's residence and took a 52-inch television, an Xbox game system and a Care Bear cartoon movie.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.


  • A 29-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were issued notices to appear in court at the 00 block of Main Street, Nov. 4.

    According to a police report, the offenders were found to be in possession of cannabis.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.


  • A 17-year-old girl was arrested at Kohl's, 109 Convenience Center Road, Friday night.

    According to a police report, the offender exited the store without paying for three pairs of slippers she concealed in a shopping bag.


  • A 20-year-old man was issued a notice to appear in court at Best Buy, 2117 N. Prospect Ave., Oct. 29.

    According to a police report, the offender took five CDs and video games from the business.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.


Urbana

  • A 17-year-old boy reported trespassing at Subway, 802 W. University Ave., Wednesday night.

    According to a police report, a 19-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman refused to leave the business when asked to do so. One of the offenders pulled a knife on the victim, who called 911. The offenders fled the area before officers arrived.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.


  • A 19-year-old woman reported theft at the Delta Zeta Sorority house, 710 W. Ohio St., Thursday afternoon.

    According to a police report, an unknown offender took the victim's camera from the common room of the house.

    No arrested had been made at the time of the report.


  • A 19-year-old man was arrested for trespassing a residence at the 800 block of Clark Street early Saturday night.

    According to a police report, the offender entered a house belonging to two 21-year-old women without their permission. The offender fled the area but was later located by the police. The offender also admitted to consuming alcohol.


  • A 61-year-old man reported criminal damage to property at the 700 block of Oregon Street, Saturday morning.

    According to a police report, an unknown offender broke a windshield wiper off the victim's vehicle.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.


  • A 19-year-old woman reported criminal damage to property at the intersection of Busey Street and Indiana Avenue, Saturday morning.

    According to a police report, the victim parked her car near the intersection overnight. When she returned to her vehicle, an unknown offender had thrown a brick through her windshield.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.


  • A 61-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were arrested for burglary at Wal-Mart, 100 S. High Cross Road, Saturday morning.

    According to a police report, the offenders left the business without paying for two laptop computers. The offenders were later stopped by an officer for additional violations.


  • Two 21-year-old men and two 21-year-old women were issued notices to appear in court for possession of a controlled substance at the 500 block of High Street, Saturday afternoon.

    According to a police report, officers responded to a report of burnt cannabis at the residence. The offenders were found to be in possession of cannabis.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.


University

  • A woman had several items confiscated at Wardall Hall, 1012 W. Illinois St., late Wednesday night.

    According to a police report, officers responded to a report of suspected drug activity in the offender's room. Officer removed three smoking pipes and a test tube containing suspected cannabis from the residence hall.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
