According to a police report, the offender was damaging light fixtures in the common area of the apartment building. - A 22-year-old Longview, Ill., woman was arrested for possession of drug equipment and burglary at Circle K, 609 E. University Ave., on Friday afternoon.
According to a police report, the offender stole a beer from the store. The offender was located and found in possession of a glass pipe. - A 25-year-old man was arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm at the 600 block of East Vine Street on Friday evening.
According to a police report, the offender fired a gun at a 23-year-old man and a 19-year-old man during an argument.

- A 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man reported residential burglary and criminal damage to property at the 1600 block of North Lincoln Avenue on Thursday evening.
According to a police report, an unknown offender entered the victim's apartment and took several items including an Xbox 360 and electronic games.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report. - A 70-year-old woman reported theft at the 1800 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue on Thursday morning.
According to a police report, the victim reported that the offender stole her link card, after having permission to use it, and made unauthorized purchases with it.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report. - Circle K, 1821 Philo Road, reported forgery Thursday evening.
According to a police report, an unknown offender purchased merchandise from the business with some counterfeit bills.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report. - A dog was found running at large at the intersection of North Cunningham and Oakland avenues on Friday morning.
According to a police report, a 47-year-old offender's dog was found at the bottom of a construction site that was full of water.
The dog was safely removed and examined by a vet for exposure and shock. The dog is being held at the shelter for safekeeping.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report. - A 23-year-old woman reported an attempted criminal sexual assault at the 1100 block of East Colorado Avenue on Thursday night.
According to a police report, an unknown offender ran up behind the victim, knocked her to the ground and attempted to remove her pants. After a short struggle, the offender fled. The victim reported that the offender never said anything or displayed any weapons. The offender was described as a 35-year-old black male, height 6 feet 2 inches and weighing 200 pounds.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
University
- Campus Parking reported criminal damage to property at the parking structure at 1201 W. University Ave. on April 2.
According to a police report, an unknown offender placed graffiti, including gang symbols, on the walls of the parking structure. The cost of removal is estimated at $150.
