2:05 PM 4/23/2008 — I love steak. I was looking at a diagram of different cuts of beef recently. Apparently, I like the bits just in front of the hindquarters, hanging slightly underneath the spine. So, if you put your hands on your hips, start moving them toward the middle of your back, and quit when you're halfway there, those are your tasties.

Day of Silence a time for allies to stand together
11:17 PM 4/22/2008 — This Friday, students across the U.S. will stop talking. The Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) will hold its 12th annual National Day of Silence, an event which aspires to raise awareness of anti-LGBTQ activity in schools and bring an end to it.

Bear from Will Ferrell movie gave off no reasons for concern before trainer's death
5:05 PM 4/23/2008 — BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. - The grizzly bear that wrestled Will Ferrell's character in the recent film "Semi-Pro" seemed to obediently follow cues _ which made its killing of its trainer with a bite to the neck all the more stunning.
Three experienced handlers were working with the grizzly Tuesday at the Predators in Action wild animal training center when the bear attacked Stephan Miller, 39, said San Bernardino County sheriff's spokeswoman Cindy Beavers.
