Champaign

  • A 26-year-old man was arrested on an in-state warrant Saturday afternoon at the 1500 block of North Neil Street.

    According to a police report, the man is from Sherwood, Ill.

  • A 47-year-old woman reported her car stolen at the 3300 block of Valerie Drive on April 28.

    According to a police report, the 2003 white Dodge Intrepid had been parked in her driveway.

  • An unknown suspect stole power tools from a construction site at the 300 block of North Neil Street early Tuesday morning.

    According to a police report, a battery-powered saw, a battery-powered impact driver and two power drills were taken.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

  • McQuaid Property of Farmer City, Ill. reported damage to property at the 1300 block of North Hickory Tuesday afternoon.

    According to a police report, a 50-year-old man was arrested for cutting 14 metal fence poles from a backyard in half.

  • A 23-year-old man reported criminal damage to property at the 1700 block of Valley Road Sunday afternoon.

    According to a police report, the victim found his motorcycle knocked over in an apartment parking lot.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

  • A 26-year-old man was found to be in unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition at the 400 block of South Neil Street Tuesday afternoon.

    According to a police report, the subject had a loaded gun in the center console of his car.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

Urbana

  • The Champaign County Housing Authority reported someone had illegally disposed of their trash in a dumpster at an apartment complex Tuesday morning at the 1200 block of North Wright Street.

    According to a police report, a witness hired the offender to haul away some trash.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

  • An unknown offender stole gasoline from the Mobil Super Pantry, 810 W. Green St., Tuesday afternoon.

    According to a police report, the offender pumped the 27 units of gasoline into his vehicle and left without paying.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

  • A 38-year-old man reported he had been harassed by telephone Tuesday morning at the O'Brien Auto Park, 104 E. University Ave.

    According to a police report, the offender, a 43-year-old Rantoul woman called the victim multiple times because she thought her brother's vehicle was being serviced at his place of business. When the man told the offender the car was not at the business, she became belligerent and called him profane names.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

  • A 43-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman reported a man had broken into their apartment at the 900 block of East Harding on Tuesday night.

    According to a police report, the 32-year-old offender was intoxicated and refused to leave the apartment when asked and eventually punched one of the victims. He was located in his own apartment and refused officers' effort to arrest him.

  • An 85-year-old woman reported theft at Provena Covenant Hospital, 1400 W. Park St., Tuesday night.

    According to a police report, an unknown offender stole a plastic credit card holder from the woman while she was in the hospital.

    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
