- A 25-year-old man was arrested at the intersection of Hedge Road and Summerlin Lane on Sunday night.
According to a police report, officers stopped the vehicle the man was driving for playing music too loudly. The offender was found to be driving on a suspended license while under the influence of drugs and in possession of a controlled substance.
A 16-year-old girl was also charged with obstruction of justice. - A 39-year-old woman was issued a notice to appear at the 400 block of South Water Street Sunday night.
According to a police report, the woman was in possession of alcohol on public property. A 41-year-old man was also issued a citation for the same charge in addition to public urination. - A 33-year-old man was arrested in the parking lot of High Dive, 51 E. Main St., late Saturday night.
According to a police report, he was seen masturbating in the lot and was issued a notice to appear. - A 20-year-old man was arrested for resisting or obstructing an officer in the parking lot of IHOP, 308 E. Green St., early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, police were called after the offender was told to leave the parking lot several times. He left, then returned with another 22-year-old man. Both were issued notices to appear. - A 22-year-old Mansfield, Ill., man was arrested for drag racing at the intersection of Prospect Avenue and Interstate Drive Sunday afternoon.
According to a police report, officers observed two vehicles racing southbound from the intersection.
- Aramark Food Service reported criminal damage to property at the 1200 block of South Vine Street Monday morning.
According to a police report, an unknown offender damaged the windshields and side mirrors of two parked vehicles.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report. - A 43-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license at the intersection of Washington and Glover streets late Sunday night.
According to a police report, the offender was stopped for an equipment violation and an officer discovered he had a valid warrant for his arrest. The offender admitted to drinking before driving, and an open bottle of alcohol was found in the vehicle.
- A 46-year-old woman reported that a necklace valued at $750 had been stolen after the package was delivered by U.S. Mail to Sherman Hall, 909 S. Fifth St., on May 3.
According to a police report, a receipt provided by the postal service proved an unknown person had signed for the package at the front desk, but the recipient never received it.
No arrests had been made at the time of the report. - A 31-year-old man was arrested for driving with a suspended license just after midnight Tuesday at the 1200 block of South Fourth Street.
According to a police report, police stopped the vehicle because it did not have a license plate light.
The man was also issued a warning citation for the missing equipment. - Graffiti was spray painted on Bevier Hall, 905 S. Goodwin Ave., some time after 5 p.m. Friday and before 7:45 a.m. Monday.
According to a police report, repair costs for the damage are unknown. - A window valued at $500 was shot with a BB gun at Printing Services, 54 E. Gregory Drive, Monday.
According to a police report, the damage was done some time after 8 p.m. on May 5 and before 5:30 p.m. Monday.
