Kevin Manson threw a complete game and Joe Bonadonna hit a game-winning home run to lead the Illini against Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament opener Thursday, 3-2..

Manson allowed just two runs, neither earned, and Illinois was able to defeat the Buckeyes after dropping two of three against them just 10 days ago.

Illinois will send Scott Shaw to the mound to face conference champion Michigan on Thursday.
