Assembly Hall, Krannert Center gear up for fall

As students continue to enjoy their time off from school, Assembly Hall and The Krannert Center announced their fall 2008 performance lineup.
Thursday Oct. 15 Carrie Underwood and guest Little Big Town will play at Assembly Hall as a stop on their "Carnival Ride Tour." Tickets will be available beginning July 12.
NBC's Last Comic Standing Tour is also coming to Assembly Hall Wednesday Oct. 15 and Disney Live! Winnie the Pooh is coming Saturday Nov. 22. Tickets for both events are available now.
Saturday Sep. 20, the annual Pygmalion Festival is coming to Tryon Festival Theatre. It will feature the band, Yo La Tengo, and for the festival Afterglow, the bands Grampall, Jookbox, PWRFL Power and High Places will also perform.
Also coming to Tryon Festival Theatre is multiple Grammy winner k.d. Lang on Tuesday Oct. 14.
Tickets for both events will be available beginning July 9.
