Good news in Iraq bad for GOP
11:44 PM 7/24/2008 — Given the U.S. media's virtual blackout of coverage of the Iraq War, little news at all seems to come out of the country - much less good news. Sure, every once in awhile we're told "the surge is working." In a minimal way this is correct as "only" 29 U.S.

11:36 PM 7/24/2008 — 7:21 p.m.: Sujay Kumar is excited to see The Dark Knight. 12:45 a.m.: Sujay Kumar is not a big fan of The Dark Knight's ending. 9:10 p.m.: Sujay Kumar has received numerous threats, and is now the Facebook pariah.
Now it's not likely that changing your Facebook status three times in twenty-four hours can lead to your appointment as the Facebook society's outcast.
