Arrest made in murder of Champaign man
11:18 PM 8/3/2008 — The Cook County Sheriff's Office and U.S. Marshals arrested a man accused of murdering a 28-year-old Champaign man Friday evening.
According to a Champaign police department release issued Saturday, Granville Sanchez Johnson was apprehended at a home in Chicago and is being held at the Cook County Department of Corrections.

Lawmakers contemplate student-friendly legislation
