Champaign

  • A 28-year-old woman reported theft and deceptive practice on the 700 block of South State Street on Friday morning.
    According to the police report, the victim lost her wallet, which contained a debit card and several credit cards. An unknown offender has been making unauthorized charges to the cards. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
  • Subway, 700 block of West Marketview Street, reported an armed robbery, on Friday evening.
    According to the police report, the offender displayed a handgun and demanded money from the employees in the drive-thru. Once the offender got the cash, he fled the scene.
    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
  • A 19-year-old woman reported theft from a motor vehicle on the 100 block of West Green Street on Friday night.
    According to the police report, the victim allowed her friend to borrow her vehicle. When the vehicle was returned, the victim's debit card was missing from it.
    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
  • An 18-year-old woman was arrested for theft and possession of alcohol at Kam's on the 600 block of East Daniel Street, early Saturday night.
    According to the police report, the offender stole a neon "Coors Light" sign from the bar.
  • A 44-year-old woman reported residential burglary on the 2000 block of Robert Street on Sunday morning.
    According to the police report, the unknown offender entered the residence through an open garage door. The offender took a briefcase and purse located in the hallway.
  • A 25-year-old man reported theft from a motor vehicle on the 1100 block of Baytowne Drive on Sunday evening.
    According to the police report, the front license plate was missing.
  • A 53-year-old man reported criminal damage to property on the 100 block of East Chalmers Street on Sunday night.
    According to the report, an unknown offender damaged the hood of the victim's vehicle.

Urbana

  • A 56-year-old man reported credit card fraud on the 400 block of North Broadway Avenue on Friday evening.
    According to the police report, the offenders stole the victim's ATM bank card and used it without authorization.
    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
  • An 18-year-old man was arrested for trespassing at Lincoln View Apartments on the 1300 block of North Lincoln Avenue on Friday night.
    According to the police report, the offender has been previously banned from the property by the management.
  • A 47-year-old woman reported criminal damage to property on the 1000 block of Austin Street on Sunday morning.
    According to the police report, the unknown offender broke the driver's side mirror off the victim's vehicle while parked on a public street.
  • A 47-year-old woman reported criminal damage to property on the 1400 block of Adams Street on Sunday morning.
    According to the police report, the vehicle's outside mirrors and tail lights were damaged overnight.
  • Mobil Super Pantry, 500 block of West University Street, reported theft Sunday morning.
    According to the police report, an unknown offender drove off without paying for gasoline.
    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
  • A 20-year-old female reported theft on the 900 block of West Oregon Street on Sunday evening.
    According to the police report, an unknown offender stole the victim's bike, which was locked to a bike rack at the victim's residence.
    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
  • A 40-year-old man reported theft at 2300 block of South Anderson Street on Sunday evening.
    According to the police report, a FedEx package was delivered Friday evening to the victim's residence, and an unknown offender stole the package over the weekend before the victim returned to the residence.
    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.

University

  • Chick-fil-A in the Illini Union, 1401 W. Green St., reported theft Sept. 24.
    According to the police report, a manager reported that an employee had gone to the bank on Sept. 23 with a deposit and never returned. It was discovered that a total of five daily deposits on Sept. 15, 18, 19, 20 and 23 had not been received by the bank. A total of $6,749 was reported stolen.
    No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
