Champaign

  • Burglary was reported at Big Lots, 2002 W. Springfield Ave., Tuesday afternoon.

  • A 21-year-old man was arrested for burglary at the 1600 block of Melrose Valley Court on Tuesday morning.

    According to the police report, two offenders entered the victim's apartment without permission and stole a Playstation game system.

    Another offender fled on foot when police arrived.

  • Theft was reported at the 100 block of south High Cross Road on Tuesday night.

    According to the police report, an 18-year-old man stole money from the business at which he worked.

  • Burglary was reported at the Dollar General, 2012 Philo Road, Wednesday afternoon.

    According to the police report, two offenders stole several items from the business.

University

  • A wallet was stolen at the Undergraduate Library, 1402 W. Gregory Drive, Tuesday afternoon.

    According to the police report, the wallet was recovered by a third party near Bash Court and Fifth Street in Champaign, but it was missing a checkbook and cash.
