Ill. to premiere AIDS documentary

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - The Illinois Department of Public Health will feature a documentary about HIV/AIDS on World AIDS Day.

The documentary is "A Mirror to the Heart: Breaking the Stigma of HIV/AIDS." It highlights African and African-American youth impacted by HIV/AIDS, including their activities, ideas and personal experiences.

It will premiere in five Illinois cities Tuesday - World AIDS Day - as well as Atlanta, Minneapolis and Majaliesburg, South Africa.

The locations in Illinois are Millikin University in Decatur; Champaign at the University of Illinois; Chambers and Associates in Grand Chain; Western Illinois University in Macomb; Shiloh Methodist Church in Shiloh; and Union Baptist Church in Springfield.

The Chicago Department of Public Health and LathanHarris Inc. are co-sponsors.
