The No. 1 Illinois men’s gymnastics team continued its successful run Saturday night with a score of 351.500 victory against No. 7 Minnesota (344.100) and No. 9 Nebraska (333.100). The Illini took five individual titles and Illinois led on five of six events.
Junior Tyler Mizoguchi was the only Illini to compete in the all-around and took the all-around title with a score of 87.200.
Illinois’ team score was less than at the Windy City Invitational (355.400) due to strict judging.
Four Illini took home individual titles: senior Paul Ruggeri on the floor, parallel bars and high bars; Mizoguchi on the floor; senior Daniel Ribeiro on pommel horse and junior Anthony Sacramento on rings.
